August is here and, while I won’t go on vacation yet, I decided to make the most of it. This past weekend I just drove to Praia de Ancora, one of the first Atlantic beaches at the north of the Portuguese shore. Great vibes, relaxed atmosphereand not as crowded as the Mediterranean (the water a little bit colder too.)
With wild beaches, a small fortress (to fight the Spaniards), a nice fish market and plenty of restaurants and beautiful old houses, this spot attracts many Portuguese to enjoy the summer. Nature is also a key point and the Portuguese Way to Santiago de Compostela passes through. Have you been there?
